 I started practicing yoga on a regular basis in 2004. I had been
a weight lifter for years, but due to this injury I was unable to continue with
that regimen. Not wanting to end
my fitness routine, I investigated the new yoga studio that had opened down the
street. It didn’t take me long to
get hooked. I loved everything I
was learning about this ancient science of combining mind, body and breath to
promote a healthy well-being. It
got to a point where I wasn’t learning things fast enough, so I decided to take
the teacher training program. This
was a life changing experience for me. I loved everything I learned and was amazed by all the
different paths yoga can lead me on. I am
thrilled to be able to share with friends, family, and the community the
wonderful benefits of yoga. My
life is 100% better now that I have yoga in it. I also enjoy sailing, gardening, cooking, sewing, reading,
biking, and playing with my grandsons.
