I began practicing yoga about 10 years ago, seeking to quiet my mind and find refuge from the increasingly frenetic pace of life in the financial world. It worked! It worked so well that I wanted to share the miracle with everyone I knew. Yoga, for me, has become an all-encompassing practice, a full-life pursuit, and a path to spiritual enrichment that permeates life on the whole. My personal practice feeds my love of vinyasa, but is also about applying yoga in everyday life to find peace and contentment; I try to communicate that approach in every class I teach.
I started teaching in 2009, and in 2011 completed advanced training with Daniel Orlansky. I also hold certifications in Meridian Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Sadie Nardini's Core Vinyasa Yoga. My teaching style is hands-on, with a strong focus on alignment, body awareness, and breath that is continuously influenced not only by the many knowledgeable teachers with whom I continue to study, but also by the diverse needs of the students I serve. It is truly a life-long journey, this yoga, and I look forward each day to where the path will lead!
